Host/Hostess

 

General Purpose of Job:

Responsible for greeting and seating of guests, sets the tone of the dining room. Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup. Train and educate new host staff members in standard operating procedures. Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers’ concerns are addressed. Oversees dining room and acts as a goodwill ambassador to guests. Provide guests with menus. Receive and record patrons’ dining reservations.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Must have working knowledge of the menu and specials, including pricing structure.
  2. Anticipate needs of scheduled special parties and communicating seating needs to service, bus and other staff.
  3. Complete all side work and maintain the level of menus and other necessary items at the host station.
  4. Responsible for training other hosts and hostesses to ensure consistency, high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
  5. Provide the type of service that exceeds guest’s expectations.

 

Qualifications

  1. Must have Food Service Workers License.
  2. Must fully understand the POS system and all related programs.

Bartender

 

General Purpose of Job:

Fill drink orders either taken directly from patrons at the bar or through waiters and waitresses who place drink orders for dining room customers. Bartenders check identification of customers seated at the bar, to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol and tobacco products. They prepare mixed drinks, serve bottled or draught beer, and pour wine or other beverages. Bartenders must know a wide range of drink recipes and be able to mix drinks accurately, quickly, and without waste. Besides mixing and serving drinks, bartenders stock and prepare garnishes for drinks; maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies; and keep the bar area clean for customers. They also may collect payment, operate the cash register, wash glassware and utensils, and serve food to customers seated at the bar. Bartenders usually are responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Takes orders from patrons and from wait staff. Prepares and serves alcoholic drinks, wine, beer, and soft drinks as requested.
  2. Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  3. Is familiar with standard drinks and maintains supplies necessary to prepare common cocktails and beverages.
  4. Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
  5. Collects money for drinks served.
  6. Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
  7. Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
  8. Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.

 

 

Server

 

General Purpose of Job:

To serve the guests food, drinks and snacks. Shall represent the club in a professional and exemplary manner and promote the success of the club to guests, staff and any other parties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for serving the guest’s food, drinks and snacks while providing exemplary service.
  2. Must demonstrate fiscal responsibility by providing proper change to guests and accurately completing end of shift paperwork.
  3. Complete all side work and maintain par levels of condiments and paper products in work areas.
  4. Coordinate with the kitchen and servers daily events and specials.
  5. Provide the type of service that exceeds guest’s expectations.
  6. Work together with management to establish an environment in which everyone is informed and involved.
  7. Know the menu and bar drinks, to include, pricing and ingredients.
  8. Check patrons’ identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  9. Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
  10. Inform customers of daily specials.

 

 

Cook

 

General Purpose of Job:

Prepare dishes and specialty dishes as listed on the menu. Work cooperatively with the kitchen staff to establish an efficient and coherent work environment. Responsible for ensuing adequate food items and supplies.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Experience as a cook or assistant cook .
  2. Training and experience in cooking for large groups.
  3. Ability to work well with others at camp. Knowledge of standards of food preparation and serving and kitchen procedures.
  4. Work together with kitchen staff.
  5. Participate in overall staff orientation as possible.
  6. Work with head cook to receive and store food stuffs and supplies.
  7. Function as general all round-cook for all meals and special events.
  8. Clean and prepare food service areas for use. Help close kitchen down for off season.
  9. Evaluate current season and make recommendations for following season.
  10. Follow all rules of local and state health regulations.
  11. These are not the only duties to be performed. Some duties may be reassigned and other duties may be assigned as required.
  12. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely.
  13. Maintain appropriate inventory of food, supplies.
  14. Ability to interpret written menus and meal plans.

 

 

Busboy/Dishwasher

 

General Purpose of Job:

Assistant to a waiter or waitress, mainly specializing in setting and clearing tables or in some types of restaurants, in bringing the introductory foods.

 

 

Assistance Floor Manager / Manager

 

General Purpose of Job:

Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room staff to ensure that patrons receive prompt and courteous service. Hire, train, and supervise food and beverage service staff. Maintain records of time worked by staff, and prepare payrolls. Plan parties or other special events and services. Prepare staff work schedules.Speak with patrons to ensure satisfaction with food and service, and to respond to complaints.

 

 

Maintenance Person

 

General Purpose of Job:

Keeps restaurant area clean and orderly condition and performing any combination of following duties: Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space. To perform a full range of custodial duties related to the cleaning of assigned buildings and facilities; and to run errands or deliver packages and supplies as needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Maintain carpeted floors and runners by vacuuming, removing stains, shampooing.
  2. Operate floor cleaning machines and repair wax covering on floors.
  3. Perform minor repairs to furniture and equipment.
  4. Move furniture as assigned.
  5. Maintain bathrooms by cleaning and disinfecting sinks, mirrors, urinals, toilets, showers, and walls.
  6. Collect and dispose of garbage, including recyclable materials.
  7. Perform miscellaneous tasks.
